Cover and hold refrigerated.
Clean BANANA BUNDT CAKE
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/two cups sugar
one one/2 cups mashed bananas (about three)
2 big eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
two cups cake flour
one tsp baking soda
1/two tsp salt
one/two cup sour cream
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and lightly flour an eight-cup Bundt pan set apart.
In a significant mixing bowl, cream the shortening. Slowly create the sugar to the shortening and defeat until finally light. Add the banana, eggs, and vanilla extract beat effectively. one/4 cup chopped walnuts
Set the very hot h2o in a tiny mixing bowl and beat in the powdered sugar till the frosting is thick enough to distribute. Include the rum and keep on beating until creamy. Distribute on cooled cake. Sprinkle chopped walnuts over the top for garnish, if preferred.
